When reason fails, they come at night.
1/6
When reason fails, they come at night is a short film loosely inspired by the ballet Giselle. As reimagined wilis (female spirits who make men dance to death), the performers personify a haunted past that seeks revenge. Melding together aesthetics from the 1700s and 1970s, the hallucinogenic imagery prods and pokes at traditional power structures.
