Caravan: Double Feature is an expanded cinema and performance event. The headlights of a Dodge Caravan are replaced by vintage 16mm projectors, and two 16mm stereoscopic films of a man and woman walking on an abandoned road are wrapped around the length of the vehicle. The power is sourced from the engine, and a brick placed on the gas pedal keeps the car running. The van rests on car jacks, leaving the front wheels to spin endlessly. Performative elements are included at screenings.
