Nurses and the prince

Inspired by Richard Prince's Nurse Paintings, Nurses and the Prince explores the effect that embodied practices from pop culture and religion have on women's identity formation. The role of the hare martyr acts as a hopeful symbol; a complicit public has the agency to create change in the world.

It was performed as part of a larger installation in Cornering a Hare.
